GOOD MORNING EVERYONE ITS ME AMEL aka sister martin!! I hope everyone has had a good week :)) she wrote an essay today so bless up 

Tuesday what a wild ride!! So basically we got a district plant so we can be unified lol so at district council we literally spent 10 minutes voting on names haha it was soooo funny and now his official name is Quantavious Demetrius Demarcus III so yep! And every week it goes to a different companionship lol. (Let’s just pray the elders dont kill it…) 

I also got clawed by a cat at our member meal 🙁

Wednesday we were knocking a door in downtown salem and then this guy yelled at us wanted to hear a message and so we shared a scripture and mid testimony he took a picture of us (tried to be sly but it was very obvious) so that was interesting and we very quickly sent him over to the elders lol…. but then told the elders he didn’t want to talk to them… awko taco

We then had interviews with Prez!!!! So fun love the Parkers! 

Then we had dinner with the Goeschs (our ward mission leader and his wife) and the elders! It was so much fun we had a good time :)))))

Thursday was a looonggg day!! Lots of knocking and talking oh and we had to teach the Thursday night Topics class about general conference!! Yep so that was fun :))) 

Friday… i think everyday im just going to say it was a long day but friday was wow so long im getting over my fear of talking to people but still cant seem to find people who want us around but we went and did service for one of our friends and i washed nasty dishes for an hour straight that have probably been sitting there for a month growing mold and being swarmed by nats 🙂 so that was an experience… and we left and the front of my dress was COVERED in water ig i was getting too aggressive lol 

Saturday General Conference started whoot whoot!! We watched the first session at the Blakes house with some members of the ward and sister Blake made the best breakfast! Then we just watched the next one at the Stake Center! And usually i would sleep after but we went and knocked some more doors and did some service for a less active member 🙂 it was the most dusty cat haired house ive seen 

But also go cougs working hard (also shoutout my sisters for always keeping me updated haha) 

Sunday! Conference pt. 2! At the Stake Center! (None of our friends came but a bunch of them were able to watch on their own!) But then at the beginning of the last session the parkers showed up lol! Took us very much by surprise and we just had our snacks spread out and stuff haha but we got to watch it with them for a bit!! 

also everyone pray for ryan and bina we haven’t had contact with them for a few days and maybe i just worry about them too much but we’ve never not gotten texts back and they have never not answered the door 🙁 but you best bet i am on their doorstep every day until i talk to them! Im praying so hard for them  

One of my favorite talks at General Conference was Gabriel W. Reid! Super cool guy! But one of my favorite parts of his talk was when he talked about following the Savior’s pattern of loving! God gave us a blueprint, he gave us someone to be like, He gave us Jesus Christ to be an example to us! As we follow Jesus Christ’s example we love better, we learn better, we teach better, we become better! I know Jesus Christ has perfect love for each one of us and as we share that love with others we can become more like Jesus Christ and help others come unto Him too! I love Jesus sooooo much and hope you do too!!!! 

So sorry i wrote a book this week! Anyways
